Backstage at Crue Fest ’09 with Nikki Sixx, Rev Theory and Charm City Devils

Last week I went to CrueFest and got together with Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue before the show to discuss his Epiphone signature bass . Nikki customizes every bass he plays with his own unique treatment and artwork so when Nikki’s tech, Darron showed us Nikki’s rack of basses, the discussion immediately turned to the possibility of offering some limited edition Epi Blackbirds inspired by Nikki’s designs.
